Qualified Social Worker, Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, Children Assessment Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team. The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager. The responsibilities will include: Being case accountable for a complex and challenging case load of children and young people and completing all necessary statutory requirements within duty, child protection and care planning processes. Undertaking assessments. Direct work with children and families. Court Work. Formulating and implementing SMART plans. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation). 3 month Temporary Contract. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance. Successful candidates will benefit from: A Kindle Fire upon commencement of contract (see terms). £20 Amazon voucher if registration is completed within 2 weeks (see terms). Competitive pay rates.
