Qualified Social Worker, Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, Children Care Planning & Adoption Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team. The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager. The responsibilities will include: Experience writing Child Permanence Reports, Court Reports, and all documents relating to the linking, matching, and placement of children for adoption. Family finding, linking and matching children, attendance at Panel as well as supporting adoptive placement. Direct work with children, preparing children for transitions and moving to their adoptive placements. Keep accurate case records. Manage complex care planning. Court Work. Liaise with other professionals. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation). 3 month Temporary Contract. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance.
