Qualified Social Worker, Team Manager, Mental Health Team
Pay rate:
£42 per hour Contract role The Talent Crowd are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker for a Team Manager role in a Mental Health Team in Bolton. This position is for a Team Manager in a busy integrated community mental health team based in Bolton. Experience in a Team Manager role is essential as we need someone to hit the ground running to cover planned sickness of the current Team Manager. We would like to recruit ASAP to enable a smooth handover from the current Team Manager. We anticipate this role to be 4 months in duration. Essential Requirements for the Role:
Must be an experienced social worker/team manager with 3-4 years+ experience. Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and adaptable. Experience of managing an integrated mental health team. Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and the Care Act. Ability to provide good quality supervision to staff within the team. The work varies day to day and requires a manager to efficiently manage work within the team, ensuring close liaison with health colleagues. The team is made up of nurses and social workers and is currently hosting a Think Ahead cohort, supported by a Consultant Social Worker and Senior Social Worker along with Head of Service oversight/operational lead, which brings a different dimension to the team and social work practice.
