Qualified Social Worker, Team Manager, Wirral Council, Children Assessment & Intervention Service - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team. The responsibilities will include: Offer a fair and manageable case load across all teams, with an agile working kit allowing you to work flexibly and remotely. Support/manager Social Workers within Assessment and Intervention who are able to work with families from the initial assessment through to determining long-term plans. Support in honing and developing skills, including working in partnership with other professionals, court work, and completing direct work using our supporting families, enhancing futures model. Make decisions, manage risk, influence, and negotiate with others. Organise and plan tasks, meeting agreed timescales and responding to competing priorities. Use resources effectively, including budget management. Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and professionalism. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation). 3 month Temporary Contract. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance.
