Qualified Social Worker, Trafford Council, Childrens Permanence Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team. The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager. The responsibilities will include: Working with Children in Care; you will be a confident and ambitious worker, contributing to our journey on restorative relational practice. Adopting an innovative approach to supporting children's social care and ensuring continuity of care to our vulnerable service users. Having a sound knowledge of legislation relevant to this post and demonstrable insight into the issues facing children, young people, and families. With strong communication and assessment skills, developing effective working relationships with families and colleagues from various agencies. Writing clear and concise reports, maintaining case records, and fulfilling administrative requirements. Prioritising, meeting deadlines, and problem-solving on a daily basis. Liaising with other professionals. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation). 3 month Temporary Contract. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance.
