Qualified Social Worker, Wrexham Council, Children And Families Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team. The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager. The responsibilities will include: To ensure that services are available to assess needs To ensure that plans are reviewed in line with statutory time scales To undertake assessments as required To undertake s.47 enquiries as appropriate To work in partnership with other agencies in providing and coordinating a multi-agency response to meeting assessed need To prepare reports for court as required Child Protection work Care Management Manage a case load Home Visits Liaise with other professionals • 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation) • 3 month Temporary Contract • Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance Successful candidates will benefit from: A Kindle Fire upon commencement of contract (see terms) £20 Amazon voucher if registration is completed within 2 weeks (see terms) Competitive pay rates Weekly payroll Free access to a comprehensive online training portal worth £500 a year Your own dedicated consultant with extensive social work knowledge Receive up to £250 for each referred worker (see terms) The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
