Quality Inspector Your new company Hays are working with a large manufacturing business in Telford who are looking for a Quality Inspector for a large growing business. This is an exciting role working in a busy fast-paced environment. Your new role As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the conformity of finished goods prior to delivery to their customers. You will utilise first principle and CMM inspection techniques, specifically using Cosmos CMM software, to maintain our high standards of quality. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to read engineering drawings and GA's, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment. Key Duties include: Conduct thorough inspections of finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Utilise first principle and CMM inspection techniques, employing Cosmos CMM software for accurate measurements. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Participate in the maintenance and compliance of the company's ISO9001 quality management system. Document inspection results and prepare reports for management review. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role you will need experience in the following: Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CMM inspection techniques and software, particularly Cosmos CMM. Familiarity with ISO9001 quality management standards. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
