Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a meticulous and organised Quality Administrator to join our Formula 1 team. The role is diverse and will work across all areas of operations, with the primary responsibility to manage calibration, stores inventory, and proprietary parts. Role Dimensions: Based at MTC or MRC reporting to the Director of Quality & Operational Performance. Principal Accountabilities: Calibration Management: Manage and maintain the calibration system for all measurement and testing equipment. Ensure that all equipment is calibrated to regulatory and industry standards within required timelines. Maintain accurate calibration records and certificates. Schedule and coordinate external calibration services, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Conduct periodic audits of calibration processes to ensure ongoing compliance. Stores & Inventory Management: Implement efficient inventory control systems to ensure stock locations are continually maintained and accurate. Work closely with finance and operations departments to ensure physical and digital stock align. Work with stock managers completing transactional tasks to ensure accuracy. Conduct periodic audits of stock locations to ensure ongoing compliance. Proprietary Parts Management: Manage the control and traceability of proprietary parts and ensure they are procured to the required quality standards. Maintain records of proprietary part specifications, certifications, and usage history. Work with suppliers and the design team to define quality and performance requirements. Ensure the secure handling and storage of proprietary components, maintaining confidentiality where required. Maintain an international standards library. The above threads encompass the main accountabilities of this role; however, the role will include other wide-reaching administrative responsibilities. Therefore, the individual must be capable of having multiple work streams running simultaneously. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Experience working within an engineering environment within a quality team. Previous experience managing calibration, stock locations, and proprietary parts is preferable. Organised and pragmatic with good attention to detail. Experience conducting internal audits is preferable. PC literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office suite. Team player with a proactive approach. Clear and effective communicator.
