We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Compliance Specialist to join a world-leading engineering business. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive the internal audit schedule whilst ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will also develop and implement a supplier quality plan to enhance the supply chain operations, contributing to a zero defects program. Six Sigma experience is highly advantageous for this position. Key Responsibilities: Compliance Management:

Manage the existing internal audit schedule to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Conduct regular internal audits, document findings, and provide actionable recommendations to improve compliance processes. Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the organisation’s practices align with new compliance requirements. Share best practices within compliance.

Supply Chain Quality Management:

Develop and implement a comprehensive supplier quality plan to ensure high standards and consistent quality across the supply chain. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate quality systems and compliance with company standards. Work closely with suppliers to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve their processes. Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the supply chain.

Lead initiatives and activities linked to the zero defects program, aiming to eliminate defects in products and processes. Utilise Six Sigma methodologies to identify, analyse, and resolve quality issues, enhancing overall product quality and process efficiency. Monitor and report on the progress of the zero defects program, providing regular updates to management. Qualifications: Extensive experience in compliance management, supply chain quality, or a related role. Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly desirable. Strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and supply chain processes. Proven experience in conducting internal and supplier audits. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
