QA Automation Engineer

to join our team at Revolution. The role will be

hybrid or remote working , although if remote, some (very infrequent) travel may be required to our company headquarters. In return, you will receive a competitive

salary of up to £55,000

The role

We’re looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our Agile team. You will play a pivotal role in building, maintaining, and enhancing our test automation framework using C# and Playwright, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software.

You’ll collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and QA peers to deliver robust automation solutions that streamline testing, improve coverage, and support the development of business-critical systems.

Key responsibilities

Create and optimize an automation framework for testing web applications and APIs.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# and Playwright.

Execute automated test cases and analyze results to ensure software quality.

Work closely with developers and stakeholders to define test strategies, identify gaps, and provide feedback.

Collaborate with the QA team to implement best practices and increase test automation coverage.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the automation suite, ensuring stability and performance.

Document test plans, test scripts, and test execution reports.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation with hands-on expertise in

C# .

Strong proficiency with Playwright or a similar test automation tool.

Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.

Familiarity with testing APIs and web applications.

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and working within Agile teams.

Proficiency in SQL for database validation and testing.

Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Experience with security testing.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
