The Quality Assurance Engineer main function is to support the business in areas of QMS compliance. The successful candidate will take ownership of the QMS by leading the internal audit programme, hosting customer and regulatory audits, ultimately ensuring the business remains compliant to industry standards. Scope:

This role reports directly to the Quality Manager working closely with all business functions. Job Role

This role will support the AS/AS QMS across the entire business. Maintenance of all documents, procedures, customer/regulatory standards and specifications that make up the QMS. Plan & maintain the internal audit programme to ensure adherence to the QMS. Coordinate & support closure of associated non-conformances. Host external audits with regulatory bodies and customers. Professional Requirements and Experience

Time Served or Degree Educated in a relevant field

or

demonstrating relevant industrial experience. Experience maintaining a QMS within an aerospace AS environment would be advantageous, but not necessary. Demonstrated experience as an internal auditor. Demonstrated experience performing structured Root Cause & Corrective Action activities. IT Literate - Microsoft Office Software Experience using Q-Pulse would be advantageous, but not necessary. Personal Competencies

Should be confident and competent to host customer and regulatory auditors. Have the ability to work on own initiative, with willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be highly organised and diligent with good attention to detail.
