Quality Assurance Engineer

to join our innovative team specializing in high voltage solutions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the highest quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring customer satisfaction in our cutting-edge energy products. This exciting opportunity will require 30% of travel. Your responsibilities: Managing Non-conformances (SAP Q Notifications), Customer complaints, Root Cause Analysis 8D reports and Customer Case handling (within and without warranty). Analysing all failures and concerns on-site, factories and within the supply chain and reviewing customer site I&C quality plans, method statements and Quality Documentation. Create, maintain and manage Inspection test plans (ITP’s), Site acceptance test plans (SAT’s) and Factory acceptance tests (FAT’s). Perform training and analysis on Quality cases and execute internal audits on sites, suppliers and global quality standards assurance (GQSA). Work on and maintain bespoke High Voltage Service Business Management System (BMS). Maintain local Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with High Voltage. Process Mapping Development and documentation in Hitachi ADONIS systems. Produce reports and manage Quality KPI’s in accordance with business targets with cost of poor quality (COPQ). Background: Proven experience in Quality Engineering and industry. Experience in coaching of L6S projects, continuous improvement (CI) and training within quality. Strong understanding of quality assurance processes, audits, and inspections. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset. Understanding of the ISO 9001 Quality standard and Subject Matter Expertise (SAP).
