We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineering Group Leader to join the Team at our new Silverstone Facility. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of quality assurance engineers responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the quality assurance processes across all engineering functions. You will ensure that product quality meets the highest standards and that all engineering projects are completed without defects. We emphasize a culture of excellence, and we encourage team members to voice innovative ideas that will contribute to our overall success. What you will be doing:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality assurance engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance strategies, systems, and processes to ensure product quality and on-time delivery of right-first-time components. Oversee supplier quality management activities, ensuring that suppliers meet company quality requirements and performance expectations. Oversee the planning and execution of external and internal quality audits. Coordinate and collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive improvements in supply chain quality. Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure that quality assurance processes are integrated into the design and manufacturing, thus enabling a right-first-time culture. Collaborate with supply chain and engineering teams to identify and mitigate risks related to product quality. Oversee the resolution of quality issues, using quality improvement methodologies such as

Six Sigma ,

Lean ,

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) , and

Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)

to reduce defects and improve overall product quality and efficiency. Provide actionable feedback and guidance to supply chain and engineering teams regarding quality improvements. Stay informed about developments in quality assurance methodologies and tools. Foster an environment that promotes continuous improvement within the team, identifying opportunities for process optimization, driving efforts to streamline workflows, enhance quality systems, and reduce waste across the production process. Requirements Several years of experience in quality assurance within the engineering or motorsport sectors. Experience in leading, mentoring, and managing a team of quality assurance engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Proven track record of supplier quality management activities, to include risk mitigation, RCA/CAPA. Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. Ability to influence, collaborate and communicate effectively with engineers, management, and stakeholders. Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations pertinent to quality assurance (ISO9001). Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and learning. Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
