JAN20255670 Expiry date: 23:59, Sun, 2nd Feb 2025 Location: Liverpool Part-time (28 hours per week), Permanent appointment We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Facilitator to oversee and implement a robust and centralised Quality Management System (QMS) at LSTM. As part of LSTM’s commitment to excellence in all our operations, you will ensure that our processes, procedures, and outcomes meet the highest quality standards in accordance with relevant regulations and best practices. LSTM has a growing requirement for expertise in Quality Assurance as we expand our research profile and offer an increasing range of services to external clients. Primarily this role will be to ensure that LSTM has a robust and up to date centralised Quality Management System. The role will also support the compliance activity of the Research Governance, Ethics and Integrity team. The Quality Assurance Facilitator will work across LSTM to ensure the Research Quality Management System requirement of one set of SOP’s and templates across LSTM is maintained centrally. The successful candidate will provide support to the Research Governance, Ethics and Integrity team in supporting the greenlight process of global studies by ensuring checklist of documents are met before issuing greenlight. You will also support the quality of research by supporting the monitoring and auditing of projects and maintain records to evidence monitoring plans are being met to give quality assurance around compliance and project delivery. Key Responsibilities include: Quality Management System:

Ensure the Research Quality Management platform of SOP’s and templates is maintained with documents in date Liaise with the Clinical Research QA Officer to ensure all documents that are specific to their areas are updated and stored on the central Research QMS Platform To collate records to ensure research teams evidence they have read and understood SOP’s relevant to their research To escalate gaps of evidence of research teams SOP knowledge so that sponsorship can be reviewed of research activities To support the greenlight process for global studies Ensure the research management system is updated with the greenlight checks Update research database of study status and go live dates Update study document repository/trial master file with updated versions of projects documents Carry out random checks on the study document files Monitoring and Auditing:

To support the Compliance Officer and Research Governance Officer in monitoring activities on LSTM premises Support the process for monitoring plan development, procuring and contracting with monitors, and tracking adherence to monitoring plans Provide any information on version controls and support any investigation that the Compliance Officer or Research Governance Officer may bring To collate monitoring reports from partners and share with Compliance Officer The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders. Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate: Proven experience of working in a professional administrative role within Higher Education or a similar research and development environment Experience of research governance processes Knowledge of international and UK research processes in Higher Education or similar environment Strong administrative, organisation and time management skills with proven success in delivering results to demanding deadlines Excellent IT skills, particularly in spreadsheets and database management Experience of preparing reports for internal and external review
