Royal Greenwich Integrated Commissioning are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Lead Officer to join our Health and Adult Services workforce for the portfolio areas of Early Help / ICES / ATEC. Join us to support a new vision for Health and Adults Services. Royal Borough of Greenwich Adult Health and Social Care services collaborate with residents so they can live the best lives they can, by working together to identify strengths and support independence. We have developed a new long-term vision with the help of residents and partner organisations, which will build on all our strengths to support health, wellbeing, and independence. Our vision for Health and Adults' Services 2021 to 2024 is: Working together to live the best life you can in Royal Greenwich.

We are looking for a strong candidate to support the System lead for Quality Assurance and the Head of Service to undertake quality reviews of service providers, develop action plans alongside them when required and support provider concerns approaches. Among various other duties, the postholder will work and engage with providers to ensure the consistent delivery of outcomes through performance management processes and if required, act if these outcomes are not being delivered.

The postholder will work collaboratively with other officers, commissioning colleagues, key partners such as the Safeguarding team, CQC and Skills for Care, and be the first point of contact for any operational and contractual issues. A key aspect of this post involves being aware of the data, gaps, and weaknesses, and providing relevant quality information informing gaps and weaknesses where needed. The candidate will need to be proficient in a range of MS Excel data analysis skills.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting the Systems Lead for Quality Assurance and the Head of Market Quality and Sustainability to pursue the highest standards of care, ensuring full compliance with all relevant Care Quality Commission standards and the Council’s and ICBs (Integrated Care Board) procurement, contract, and finance standards to secure best value services.

Join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding journey of empowering local residents. If you are ready to lead with impact, innovation, a strength-based approach and be one of the driving forces behind transformative change, apply today.
