Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional looking for a new challenge in the food industry? We are seeking a
Quality Assurance Manager
to join our clients
Technical team
at a leading food manufacturing company in Craigavon. This role is crucial in ensuring that food safety, quality, and compliance standards are met across all production activities. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain
quality systems
to the required
BRC standard
and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Supervise and manage
QA and Hygiene staff , working closely with the
Production team
to maintain quality standards. Handle
customer and supplier quality issues , ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement. Play an active role in
technical audits, HACCP assessments, traceability exercises, and risk analysis . Manage
raw material suppliers, calibration schedules , and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively. Collect samples, analyse microbiological results, and oversee
customer complaint investigations . Support the
Technical Manager
and be prepared to deputise when required. Requirements:
2-3 years' experience
in a Quality/Technical role within the
food industry . Degree or
HNC/D qualification
in a relevant
food-related discipline . Strong
IT skills
with the ability to record and present data effectively. Excellent
organisation, leadership, and communication skills . Ability to work under pressure in a
fast-paced manufacturing environment . A
clean UK/EU driving licence
