The Quality Assurance Manager is an integral role within the business, ensuring all products meet stringent compliance and quality standards.The role:* Manage product quality assurance, ensuring conformity to food safety, quality and legal standards and requirements * Deliver the Quality Service Level (QSL) target for the business and customers* Working closely with other departments to manage and investigate quality issues and resolve* Managing the Quality Assurance budget* Undertake regular internal/external quality visits * Promote quality assurance practices through out the business* Record, analyse and report on quality dataYou:* A proactive attitude, capable of making sound judgments and decisions under pressure* Previous experience in fresh produce/quality role* Previous experience of leading and supervising a team* Strong understanding of BRCGS, other food safety standards and HACCP principles* Experience communicating with customers on a regular basis* Strong verbal and written communication skills that develop and nurture external and internal stakeholder relationships* Minimum Level 2 HACCP and Food Safety qualification* A degree or similar qualification in a relevant field (advantageous)* Strong IT skills with experience using Microsoft Office applications and other softwarePackage:* Generous salary, negotiable for the right candidate* Pension scheme – 5% employer contribution* Private Health Scheme
