Quality Assurance Manager (Part 66 provision)

Do you want to make a significant impact on the UK's aviation skills need...? To support the compliance and quality of our Part 66 provision, we're looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who can work on a self-employed/contractor basis. Exeter College is one of the few colleges nationally approved by the CAA to deliver the P147/66. All our brilliant staff hold current B Licences and are passionate about training future generations of aviation engineers. Our resources are exceptional and replicate an MRO environment, complete with a Jetstream, operational Learjet, 40-station electronics classroom, 3 wind tunnels, turbine engines, flight surfaces and lots more. This is all delivered from our Future Skills Centre, adjacent to Exeter Airport. To support the compliance and quality of our Part 66 provision we're looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who can commit up to 2 days per month on contractor/self-employed basis who: has an understanding of Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisations has experience of the Part 66 training and certifying process (this is essential) is passionate about high-quality training for the next generation of aviation engineers is organised, reliable and collaborative What you'll be doing... quality assuring our processes and procedures through an audit programme, to ensure they fully comply with CAA regulations working with our brilliant aviation team to drive improvement liaising with the CAA with regard to quality, including attending any audits
