Location: HPC The Quality Control Engineer will be ensuring that a consistently high standard of quality control and supervision is maintained on the contract, through site visits and assessing contract implementation. The ideal Quality Control Engineer will possess the ability to ensure supplier quality arrangements are reviewed and approved in accordance with the project requirements. The Quality Control Engineer will have 3 years' experience as a quality engineer within the RC Frames or Tunnelling sector. The Ideal Quality Control Engineer will hold at least a HND/HNC or equivalent in Engineering. Quality Control Engineer Position Overview Ensure priority to health and safety, environment and quality. Ensure supplier quality arrangements are reviewed and approved in accordance with project requirements. Provide assurance to all site activities and during manufacturing process of jacking pipes. Ensure uninterrupted production by proactive involvement in control, management and delivery of work. Report immediately & manage any deficiencies and proposed improvements. Day to day control of site quality management including maintaining assurance, a safe site, site set up and compliance with quality procedures, safe methods of work and safety regulations. Ensure effective identification and remedy of any defects and non-compliances. Ensure effective handover of the project upon completion. Quality Control Engineer Position Requirements Minimum HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction. Experience within the RC Frames and Tunnelling sector. Experience in a Quality Control role on a major project. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
