Quality Control Engineer Hours:
37 hours per week Rate:
Starting salary is £40,000 p/a The Job
Leading quality related investigations as required (MRB and RCCA) Customer interaction on non-conformity and customer returns Maintaining PI and KPI data, including SPC to drive process improvement Recognise the need for Continuous Improvement activities required in support of the effective operation of the manufacturing areas, notifying senior management of potential areas for improvement and ultimately assisting in their implementation Supporting inspection across several functions in a technically demanding aerospace market working to manufacturing / engineering drawings, work instructions, job cards, specifications and standards To review operating procedures by means of monitoring and / or auditing to ensure their effectiveness and compliance Participate in internal quality audits Participate in new product introduction (NPI), development and failure investigations Support APQP and PPAP programs Ensuring a clean working environment to ensure components are free from contamination and foreign objects Assist in maintaining quality, environmental and health and safety standards Performing other duties as deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company Ensuring product excellence and adherence to Quality standards and championing a 'right-first-time' ethos across the business Requirements
Minimum three years' experience as a Quality Inspector/Quality Engineer Minimum three years' experience working to aerospace quality systems Time-served with a recognised apprenticeship Proficient IT skills including MS-Office (primarily, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) What Next?
