PE Global are currently recruiting for a Lab technician - Microbiologist for a contract role with a leading multinational Consumer Goods client based in Flint.
Laboratory Technician will support the growth of the wet wipe business at Flint Mill. The applicant must have a real enthusiasm for Quality and the ability to work flexibly within the team. They should also have a positive attitude for driving a safe working culture. Key personal characteristics for this role include enthusiasm, a pro-active approach to work, diligence, excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
• To carry out daily microbiological analysis of products and raw materials.
• To follow procedures diligently and work efficiently to meet daily targets.
• To maintain laboratory supplies as required.
• To adhere at all times to the health and safety working practices within the laboratory.
• To provide QC laboratory and quality reports as required.
• To carry out product quality testing as required.
• To maintain laboratory test methods and work instructions.
• To train manufacturing team members in quality testing and hygiene practices.
Requirements
• Working Days will be Saturday to Wednesday (8am - 4pm).
• Candidates must have scientific background Ideally with laboratory experience who would be able to perform aseptic testing.
