Your role

We are recruiting an additional Officer to join our Quality team in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity to join Cepac to contribute and support our ongoing success and future expansion plans. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the main responsibilities are to: Work closely and build a strong relationship with our production staff to improve and drive our quality standards by following our quality management systems procedures. Ensure that process monitoring and quality assurance is undertaken within the shift. Highlight any areas of non-conformance and to carry out relevant preventative actions and process improvements. Participate in root cause analysis for complaints and internal issues, contribute at quality meetings/reviews to drive new initiatives to increase the site’s quality and BRC standards. Conduct performance testing of raw material and finished product. Carry out internal audits, including product safety and quality. Produce and maintain quality related documents and reports. Conduct Quality Awareness Training. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a quality/process improvement environment and have knowledge of hygiene awareness, with the ability to compile hygiene and quality reports. You will also have good numeracy skills with an excellent eye for detail, strong communications skills both written and verbal with a high level of self-motivation. You will be able to multi-task whilst remaining organised and efficient with experience of using Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Rotating over 3 weeks – nights (10pm-6am), afters (2pm-10pm) and days (6am-2pm). You are required to work overtime on Saturday (6am to 2pm) on the day pattern to cover busy periods and covering for colleagues, when required. Benefits
