Day and Afternoon Shifts (Monday-Friday) Adept are working with a Rotherham based manufacturing company who are looking to add a Quality Control Supervisor to their warehousing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing, analysing, and evaluating test results. Main Responsibilities:

Conduct AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) assessments on decorated products. Perform MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) and cross-hatching tests on decorated containers to ensure correct paint adhesion and durability. Maintain accurate records of test results and batch references for traceability. Monitor and ensure correct levels of paint in production. Conduct visual inspections of containers for quality assurance. Operate automated packing machinery. Perform light screen inspections and apply pallet labels accurately. Undertake other reasonable duties as required within the scope of the role. Key Skills and Experience:

Knowledge of the glass industry (preferred but not essential). Competence in using Microsoft Office applications. Experience in conducting, interpreting, and reporting test results. Strong organisational skills with the ability to structure reports for easy retrieval. Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business. Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively. Willingness to work with other teams to agree on corrective and preventive action plans. Person Specification:

GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science (Grade C or above) preferred. Basic problem-solving skills. Advocate for Health and Safety in the workplace. Positive and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing. Strong time management and the ability to meet set objectives. Organised and methodical, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Proactive in identifying issues and suggesting improvements to processes. Ability to work with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy at all times. Foster positive professional relationships with others. Motivated, resilient, and results-driven. Adaptable and open to both cultural and technical changes. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Inclusive in approach, with a willingness to take ownership and responsibility. Flexible and willing to take on additional tasks as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
