Main Responsibilities Of Quality Controller
Review initial QCP from mechanical sub-contractor, including WPQR's, WPS, technical certification, and all internal procedures prior to fabrication. Review and sign off on fabrication ITP's and govern throughout fabrication. Spot-check fabrication, audits, set ups, dimensional checks, etcetera. Hydro test witness to an agreed percentage on ITP. Review NDT results. RAD interpretation preferable. Sign-off final fabrication dossiers, WCH's material traces at close of fabrication and as-built fabrication drawings prior to delivery. Cross-check alongside construction manager for any changes from based bid, i.e., re-measures against final ISO. Continue role into installation. Check-off fabricated spools prior to install. Continue review of dossier to completion. Witness site tests, and review any site NDT. Review and sign-off final mechanical certification completion forms. Final dossier and as-built sign-off prior to commissioning handover. Final re-measure assistance. Act as the Quality Controller and authority to the sub-contract teams' QA personnel.
