£47,683+ (dependent on skills and experience) What you’ll be doing: Liaising between internal & external stakeholders to resolve Quality issues and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented Ensuring all required non-conformance management processes are followed Reporting Quality performance to the management team Contributing to Management System development/deployment/maintenance, including Quality policy and processes as appropriate Ensuring the effectiveness of the Quality system through audit and process confirmation Identifying and implementing Quality improvement activities and promoting the Zero-Defect philosophy Your skills and experiences: Essential: Quality or Engineering experience in a manufacturing setting Relevant apprenticeship or degree Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desirable: A background within aerospace products and/or processes Experience with toolsets such as Six Sigma or Lean Knowledge of AS9100 rev D Working on Carbon Fibre and with Carbon products Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The MSDU Quality Control team: The Manufacturing Service Delivery Unit (MSDU) team plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of advanced manufacturing processes within the aerospace industry. Based at our Samlesbury site, the MSDU team collaborates closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to maintain the highest standards of product integrity and regulatory compliance. With a strong focus on continuous improvement and professional development, team members have the opportunity to progress within the business, gaining experience across multiple quality-related functions.
