We are supporting our client in the recruitment of a Quality Control Operative. This role requires you to manage and support Quality assurance checks on printed golf balls. Our exciting opportunity is for you to work for a globally recognised company within the golf industry, considered to be the leader in its field. You will accrue 33 days holiday per year, and our client offers an excellent hourly rate, plus occasional overtime. This vacancy is based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Minimum Requirements: Previous experience working within a Quality Control environment. Computer literate experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and E-mail. Shifts for Quality Control Operative: 07.30 to 16.00 Monday to Thursday 07.30 to 13.00 Fridays Main Duties for the Quality Control Operative: Proactively and confidently address operational challenges while maintaining a safety-first approach. Inspect final quality assurance checks for all processes in the Logo Ball operations area. Calibration of production machinery and keeping accurate records on the Quality Control database. Self-manage your workload and co-ordinate with other departments. Conduct quality assurance checks on printed golf balls, checking print quality, colours, legibility of text, and overall size and placement. Perform calibration checks of critical production machinery. Incoming goods checking as required for both operations & distribution. Full training given.
