RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and develop Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with standards like AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485. Conduct audits, inspections, and spot-checks for processes and products. Lead investigations and corrective actions for non-conformities. Collaborate with departments to ensure quality measures are adhered to. Manage supplier quality, including audits and addressing concerns. Support customer communications regarding quality and compliance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience in a quality role within manufacturing or engineering. Familiarity with standards such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 13485 or IATF 16949. Experience with problem-solving tools like 8D, CAPA, and 5-Whys. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data handling and reporting. Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
DESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL)
HNC qualification or higher in Electronics Engineering or a related field. IPC certifications in electronics engineering. Experience in supplier quality and conducting supplier audits. Knowledge of quality inspection processes, including first article inspections.
