The company are a stable employer with a long track record in South Wales and over 4,000 employees worldwide. What you will do as the Quality Engineer:

Measure and track non-conformances and other key quality metrics. Support the site with statistical process control monitoring. Manage site Root Cause Analysis (RCA) programme. Be the key contact for quality and product issues. Lead projects that continuously improve quality and/or environmental performance. Assist in managing site environmental performance by ensuring adherence to permit requirements. Manage site ISO accreditations by administering the Integrated Management System. Support efforts to obtain additional certifications to allow the site to broaden its offerings to its customer base. Manage internal auditing across the SHEQ function. What you need to apply:

Experience as a quality engineer in a manufacturing or technical environment, preferably in a process driven environment such as chemicals, steel, food, or pharmaceutical. Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO:9001, ISO:14001, and ISO:45001. Strong skills with data gathering, data analysis, and use of tools such as SPC. Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA). A degree level qualification in a field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc., is desirable. Familiarity with HACCP is desirable. Your package

A salary of £38,000 - £46,000 (dependent on experience) + potential annual bonus (usually circa £1,500), pension (company contribution of up to 10%), private medical, etc. Monday to Thursday 8:30am-4:45pm, Friday 8:30am-4pm. How to Apply
