My client based in Woodside, Stansted is in need of a Quality Engineer.

Reporting to the Group Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer is responsible for assisting with quality issues and ensuring the quality system in a manufacturing environment complies with requirements set by regulatory bodies, maintaining compliance of approvals held by the company.

Main Duties and Responsibilities will include: Assisting in all matters pertaining to the work of the Quality Department. Undertaking special tasks as directed by the Group Quality Manager. Assisting in the training of Quality staff. Keeping manuals, expositions, and other system documents up to date and placing them on the server. Conducting internal audits within the group. Liaising with production personnel regarding technical queries and On Time Delivery data. Liaising with customers over quality and technical queries. Liaising with auditors regarding quality auditing of the facilities and systems with reference to existing approvals. Constantly monitoring existing systems and instigating changes or originating new systems. Assisting with the control of sub-contractor/supplier records and ratings. Monitoring the scrap note system and assisting in the issuance of reports. Collating information required for Management Review. Carrying out root cause analysis with production assistance and implementing required corrective actions. Managing and investigating non-conformities. Managing Key Performance Indicators, Delivery Schedule Adherence, and On Time Delivery data. Skills and Experience: Proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding English. Good knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001. EASA Part21G knowledge is desirable but not essential. Q-Pulse knowledge is desirable but not essential. Proficient in using PCs and related programs. Experience with printing/copying facilities.

The salary for this role is £45k per annum.
