The Role and You!
The role of the Quality Engineer is to lead and support all customer, regulatory, contractual and Quality Management System requirements.
The role requires experience of managing Aerospace Quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements of AS9100 whilst working with all departments to ensure compliance.
Excellent interpersonal skills together with effective communication skills are an essential part of the role.

Desired Experience and Qualifications
Significant relevant Quality experience gained within an Engineering environment, with a bias towards Mechanical Engineering.
Full understanding of Quality requirements and contractual flow downs, in particular AS9100 and AS9102 (Desired but similar experience considered across Audits within a Manufacturing Environment).
Knowledge of the Aerospace Industry and can demonstrate knowledge in Aerospace systems, products and procedures (Desired).
Engineering, Mechanical or Technical qualification and/or demonstrated work history within a similar role.
Auditor qualified to AS9100 (Ideal) or a 9001 Audit Qualification with experience within the Engineering sector, ideally Metal Casting.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Quality Management System to ensure compliance to all applicable requirements and customer standards.
Fully conversant in managing Aerospace Quality assurance standards regulatory requirements AS9100.
To carry out First Article Inspection (FAI) activities in accordance with AS9102.
