We're currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join the dynamic quality team at a leading manufacturing services provider. This hands-on role reports directly to the QHSE Manager and offers the chance to work with an exciting business, on a diverse range of products.
What you'll be doing: Root cause analysis, handling corrective actions to closure An understanding of quality improvement programmes and IPC electronic assembly knowledge would be advantageous ISO9001 / ISO13485 / ISO45001 / ISO14001 - Carry out internal process and system audits with action follow-up and progression to closure Monitoring Supplier Performance Interacting with customers, and staff on the production line, dealing with any necessary issues Dealing with material returns where required Key Requirements: Strong background in quality engineering within an electronic manufacturing environment Ability to conduct audits on Business systems and processes to meet ISO standards Excellent knowledge and awareness of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001, ISO45001) Hands-on, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills Package and Benefits: 4-day workweek (Mon-Wed 7am-5pm, Thu 7am-4:30pm) Salary is up to £42k Over 6 weeks of annual leave, plus a Christmas shutdown (24 Dec - 6 Jan) Great benefits: 24hr medical access, pension contributions, and life perks/discounts
