A long standing and well established business based locally are looking to add to their team due to expansion. The role will support the Quality Manager to run the quality system and ensure the company maintains high quality finishes across all treatments and promotes a culture of continuous learning.
The company is accredited to ISO 9001 / AS9100 and all quality system needs to conform to the requirements of these systems.
General duties: Reject investigations, including root causes and aim to improve processes. Process code checks, this would come with a lot of training as a lot of treatments knowledge is required to be able to do this proficiently. Customer terms and conditions, this entails looking into their specific requirements and making sure conformance with them. Customer visits if quality issues occur to maintain strong working relationships. These would be with the support of the Operations Manager. Working closely with the production manager and production team to potentially re-train. Update job cards with correct specific instructions if contract review has failed at their part.
You will have prior experience within a manufacturing, engineering or aerospace environment and some exposure working with quality procedures. You will have a good telephone manner and be IT literate. You will have great attention to detail and a passion for maintaining a high quality working environment.
Overtime available paid at time and a half. Free Parking. Growing business with lots of room for development.
