As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will support the business in delivering high-quality services and products. Your focus will be on implementing quality arrangements across all delivery activities. You will conduct audits to assess these arrangements' implementation status and report your findings.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilise your knowledge of the Business Management System (BMS) to review and update BMS documentation. Support problem-solving and improvement activities. Support the assurance programme by planning, scheduling, conducting, and reporting audits. Advise and support the business on quality matters and allocate appropriate quality levels for work activities. Assist in planning and meeting relevant standards for new projects. Review findings from independent assurance activities. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-compliance and prevent recurrence. Drive continual improvement across the business. Manage and close out any quality non-conformances or issues at the site. Review and approve/accept supplier quality arrangements in line with site/project requirements, including customer approvals. Monitor progress against site quality arrangements and escalate concerns to line management when necessary. Clearly identify and maintain site lifetime records, including review and approval activities, concurrently with site activities. Lead by example, promoting Cavendish principles and upholding health, safety, and wellbeing, respect, and inclusivity.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills: Essential: A degree in Science or Engineering (or equivalent qualification) and relevant experience. Desirable: A Chartered Membership of the Quality Institute and registration on an appropriate CPD scheme. An Approved Auditor qualification (or a proven track record and demonstrable skills). A strong track record in a similar role, preferably in the Nuclear or other highly regulated high hazard industry. A good working knowledge of the Nuclear industry. A good understanding of all relevant quality standards and requirements. A solid understanding of the customer's quality requirements, where applicable. A working knowledge and application of ISO9001 (and ISO17025 where relevant). The ability to investigate events using industry best-practice causal analysis tools.
