Job Purpose:
The Quality Engineer will proactively provide quality engineering support to the Quality Department. This role involves maintaining and developing the company's management systems, supporting customer service issues, and ensuring quality standards are met across the business.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with Quality Policy and Objectives. Address customer and internal concerns promptly. Conduct 8D problem-solving and investigate non-conformance. Liaise with customers and suppliers to meet expectations. Perform audits and maintain quality management systems. Record and analyse quality data and performance metrics. Support new product introductions and resolve technical issues. Knowledge, Experience, and Skills: Minimum 3 years in Quality Engineering. Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, AQP, and 8D. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards. Auditing experience is beneficial. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and organized.
