Quality Engineer Our client is experiencing a period of sustained growth and has a Quality Engineer role within their Leominster team on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting to the General Manager, the purpose of this role is to support the quality department ensuring products and processes are validated for suitability, performance, and safety in line with business and customer requirements.

This is a high growth industry with future plans for further development and the ideal candidate will be eager to learn new skills across a diverse range of products and seek development opportunities in the course of their employment.

What you can expect:

Salary: £35,000 per annum 37.5 hours per week across Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday 26 days plus bank holidays, increasing with years of service (approx. 3 days allocated to Christmas shutdown) Discretionary annual bonus Health Cash Plan Employee Share Scheme options Enhanced pension contribution: 5% employer & 4% employee Plus, other wellbeing benefits!

What you will be doing:

Implementation and management of inspection and certification control plans Supporting the project management team with contract reviews In process production part approval using visual and dimensional inspection Final inspection of completed components or assemblies including signoff Manufacturing support to the production areas with reference to quality issues Actively support the quality management system to ISO 9001:2015 certification Accomplishment of shop floor product sample and process audits to recognised schedule Maintenance and management reporting of performance Managing of all related non-conformance issues Support for the Engineering team to create BOMs on the ERP system including all supporting documentation Manage the process for Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) obtaining sign-off Support production by checking manufacturing documentation packs and BOMs are correct and sufficient

What we are looking for:

Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar ISO Lead Auditor - ISO 9001:2015 In-depth understanding of technical documentation Good interpersonal skills, the ability to work on one's own initiative or as part of a team Ability to compose clear and concise reports & documentation Ability to communicate complex technical issues in a simple and concise manner
