Responsibilities:
Plan and carry out key quality functions within the organization and be responsible for control and management of all routine quality assurance tasks.
Lead and influence quality improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and assist production in resolving non-conformances, providing timely investigation into the root cause.
Collaborate with the site management team to continually improve projects, processes, and daily activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements; report KPIs and conduct data analysis to support investigations and monthly analysis.
Conduct internal audits of customer and internal documentation, verifying and filing evidence of the reviews.
Develop quality standards and control systems, as well as corrective actions, monitoring progress for closure.
Review customer quality specifications and implement them within internal systems, manage records.
Represent PST during customer visits and communicate clearly.
Liaise with suppliers and external service providers.
Provide training and support to shop floor personnel, coaching and mentoring on quality subjects.
Minimum Requirements:
Right to work in the UK and demonstrable experience working in Quality.
Experience working in an ISO9001 or AS9100 environment and trained in internal audit.
Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of Human factors and Nadcap experience is a plus.
Project management skills and lead auditor experience.
Desirable experience in the Aerospace industry and lean activities.
FMEA experience is a plus.
Statistical knowledge (working knowledge of Minitab).

Salary range: £38,000 - £45,000
