Duties and Responsibilities
Controlling quality standards (internal and external), establishing guidelines, making criteria clear, and conducting investigations. Examine and comprehend engineering drawings, recognising important features using geometrical tolerancing, and ensuring the procedure has taken note of these. Determine the underlying source of quality problems and analyse them using statistical methods and tools. Conduct internal system and supplier audits to find problems and assist in resolving non-conformances within the allotted period. AS9102 (FAIRs). Accurate register and log maintenance. Establish internal policies and benchmarks for performance expectations and inspection specifications. Support the needs of production where necessary. Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required
Ensure work is completed to the highest standard. Qualified in a Quality discipline. Data analysis. General Mechanical & Electrical NPI knowledge. Use of Mathematics to analyse and present facts. Knowledge of ISO9001 (preferred AS9100) or similar regulatory accreditation.
