39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (7:30am - 4pm), Friday (7:30am - 3pm). Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Quality Engineer
to join a dynamic team at a leading company in the manufacturing sector. As the
Quality Engineer for NPI/FAIR , you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality of new products and supporting the production team by interpreting customer requirements. You will take the lead in completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) for both new and infrequent repeat products. Key Responsibilities:
Interpret Customer Requirements:
Focus on customer drawings and specifications for New Product Introduction (NPI). Lead FAIR Reports:
Complete customer FAIR reports, resolving any feedback issues. Support Quality Control:
Assist the Quality Control Team to maintain product quality during production. Project Delivery:
Manage and deliver specific quality-related projects and objectives. Safety Culture:
Promote a safety-first mindset in all activities. Experience:
3+ years experience in a CNC machining environment. Proven ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings. Experience with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
