Reviewing and correcting manufacturing and compliance records to ensure error-free documentation is issued to customers. Collaborating with production teams to reduce rework and scrap, embedding real-time problem-solving processes. Supporting process validation and PPAP documentation to meet customer and industry standards. Managing QA/QC activities, assisting the Quality Lead to ensure high-quality products are shipped on time. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and internal, third-party, and customer audits. Collecting and reporting quality performance data, ensuring adherence to health and safety responsibilities and policies. Successful Applicants MUST Demonstrate:

Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role within the Nuclear industry is essential for this role. A background in manufacturing/machining, with experience working closely with various departments and identifying quality-related issues early. Confidence in working with KPIs such as WIP, SQCDP, COPQ, NCR, OTIF, and RFT. Ability to demonstrate achievements based on improvements implemented, i.e. reduction in scrap %, reduction of NCR’s, improvement of efficiency %, company cost saving £ etc. Strong knowledge of Product Quality - conducting investigations and root cause analysis through using core quality tools - 8D, 5Y, Ishikawa. Proficient in PPAP, MSA, SPC, APQP. The ability to identify and resolve non-conformances effectively and efficiently.
