Quality Engineer

to join our dynamic team at our

Llantrisant Site . About the Role As an

Operations Quality Engineer , you will work closely with the site leadership team to drive continuous improvement in quality performance. Your focus will be on reducing the Cost of Quality, managing Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and ensuring the ongoing effectiveness of our Quality Management System (QMS). Key Responsibilities: Lead initiatives to identify and eliminate quality issues across departments, leveraging Lean methodologies and continuous improvement techniques. Conduct internal quality audits according to schedules and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Investigate and address non-conformities, implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Collaborate with Production and Process Owners to drive continuous improvements, ensuring alignment with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and operational priorities. Manage calibration processes for equipment used in product and process measurement. Develop and maintain a robust Quality competency framework, ensuring ongoing staff training and development. Support the Compliance Department during customer and third-party audits, ensuring quality accreditations (e.g., LPCB, WRAS, NSF, FM, ISO) are achieved and maintained. About You Experience & Qualifications: Solid educational background, particularly in numeracy and literacy. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proven track record in managing and improving Quality Management Systems and processes.
