They are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in Milton Park, Oxfordshire. Are you the right person for the job? Degree or similar qualification in a technical/engineering discipline or 5 years plus experience within a comparable role A high level of attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately Excellent written and verbal communication skills Previous experience in quality management systems Experience of working in a regulated industry (medical, aerospace, automotive) Experience in risk management processes Rounded knowledge of Windows and MS Office suite Good working knowledge of applicable quality system standards and regulations What will your role look like? Supporting the Quality Manager with QMS document completion and record storage in accordance with ISO13485 and any other regulations that apply to the QMS Support the resolution of Non-conformance and change control processes, ensuring target deadlines are met Conducts root-cause analysis using defined methodologies including identifying appropriate corrective and preventive actions and establishing effectiveness plans. Performing the approval process for new and amended Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring new and superseded documentation is correctly filed and controlled Supporting managers with Training records Data collection from QMS activities and analysis, to aid continual improvement Assisting with Internal Audits organisation, performance and reporting Support the supplier selection, evaluation and management process Conduct the release of products Communicate and collaborate with other team members Ability to work independently and as part of a team as required champions the company values daily, in every aspect of the position Any other relevant, reasonable ad hoc duties that may be requested What can you expect in return? 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays Pension scheme – Scottish Widows What’s next?
