Quality Engineer
Quality Engineer focuses on ensure compliance with company procedures across rugby operations.
What the role involves
- Ensure compliance with company procedures across Rugby operations.
- Leading the closure of non‑conformances through effective root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions.
- Preparing quality reports, documentation and corrective action records.
- Supporting APQP, FMEA and development of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Plans.
- Report on key quality metrics to identify trends.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to embed quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Skills and requirements
- Experience within a production environment, including inspection work and use of mechanical measuring equipment.
- Resolve non‑conformances using RCA tools such as 8D, A3, Ishikawa and 5 Whys.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality auditing techniques.
