Summary of Responsibilities:

The Quality Engineer will be required to regulate, control, and improve the quality of product and processes throughout the business and create a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Process

Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Manage the Document Control process.

Manage the ISO9001 Internal Audit program.

Write and implement Procedures, Work Instructions and other associated documentation in line with requirements.

Manage Product Quality testing to ensure compliance to specification and drive continuous improvement.

Manage Process Auditing requirements to ensure compliance to specification and drive continuous improvement.

Collect and analyse data for trending information, presentation to management and assessment for improvement opportunities.

Management of non-conformances from problem identification to resolution using various quality tools.

Assist the overall New Product Development process.

Leads the implementation and coordination of containment and corrective actions.

Support the implementation of the 6S program and other Lean initiatives.

People

Develop close working relationships across all departments.

Communicate quality performance across all levels within the company.

Provide quality related training.

Provide leadership and direction in relation to the QMS.

Health and Safety

Comply with company H&S policy and procedures.

Assist when required in H&S management and training.
