We are pleased to be recruiting a

Quality Engineer

for our established client in the

Tredegar

area. The successful candidate will identify and implement Continual Improvement programmes throughout manufacturing. You will also audit and report on the effectiveness and performance of the Quality Management Systems throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities

As part of a team, perform various audits against predeclared schedules. Customer support both UK and abroad as required. Train, develop and support the workforce to improve their understanding of the company's quality requirements. Support the Quality Manager in the effective resolution of customer concerns. Support the Quality Manager in APQP activities. Participate in continuous improvement (SMED, PPM reductions, etc). Investigate concerns and assist in preventing repeat issues. Ensure correct quality tools are available to meet customer and plant expectations. Management of customer concerns and the verification and reporting of the corrective actions. Coordinate the process ensuring all required parties comply with the corrective actions in a timely manner. Monitor and analyse production data to increase OEE. Maintain required KPI's. Support calibration requirements. Education & Qualifications

Good understanding of ISO9001:2015; TS16949:2016. Fully conversant in PFMEA, Control Plans, 5S, Lean Philosophy. Ideally CMM conversant or trained in PcDmis. Ideally TS16949 internal auditor trained. This is a days regular role, Monday to Friday offering a salary between

£35000-£40000
