Quality, Environment, Health & Safety Manager

to work at their manufacturing sites in

Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire . You will play an important role in directing the business on all Quality, Health and Safety areas to ensure the business successfully operates in a safe and efficient manner, whilst sustaining a continuous improvement culture. Key roles and responsibilities will include: Manage and develop the Encocam integrated management system based on the requirements of ISO9001:2015, ISO17025:2017 and ISO14001:2015. Management of the QHSE auditing program across the company, maintaining records and following up improvement actions where required. Management of the QHSE Department as a whole across all sites. Assist in the preparation and review of QHSE policy documentation. Assist in the preparation and review of company processes, procedures and work instructions. Lead non-conformity investigations for internal defects, customer complaints and supplier rejects, including root cause analysis and preventative and corrective actions, ensuring their effectiveness and satisfactory completion. Maintain the Certificate of Conformance process. Prepare and present monthly management information e.g. defect, audit reports etc. Conduct Competence Assessments and internal audit of Cellbond ATD test lab in accordance with ISO 17025. Continue to develop a risk management, health and safety strategy for the business, working with Senior Management and Business Unit Managers to implement strategy across all divisions. Ensure that Encocam complies with all relevant legislation and best practice on all aspects of QHSE, including occupational health, regulatory consents and permissions for hazardous materials storage and emissions, waste management and energy utilisation. Key Attributes for the successful candidate: At least 5 years experience in a QHSE role. Demonstrate management of role across multiple sites. Manufacturing experience preferred but not essential; however, a good understanding of machinery and chemicals is preferred. Strong team player and can demonstrate managing teams effectively and successfully. Qualifications in H&S and/or Quality & Environment are essential; both would be preferable. Happy to work in a fast-paced environment. You should ensure a professional, quality service is always provided. You will develop and build long-term relationships, displaying a high level of attention to detail. It is essential that you have an HNC or above in an engineering discipline and/or a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent. Job Types:
