Purpose:

To ensure the business complies with group, customer, and BRC standards and drive continuous improvement to factory standards to provide the company with a robust due diligence defense. Your Duties Will Include: Review and maintain cleaning risk assessment and implement action plan to manage vegan/allergen and species on site. Manage the cleaning verification schedule to prevent cross-contamination for vegan/allergen and species products. Review cleaning instruction card to ensure effective clean to the correct standard. Manage lab validations for cleaning against customers' standard and use trend to alert the business with action plan. Conduct internal audits; Quality system, fabrication, CCPs, traceability mass balance, and GMP audits in accordance with company schedule. Conduct trend analysis for audit non-conformance and work with other departments to ensure corrective actions are in place addressing root cause. Ensure CCPs QC training is up to date and CCPs production documentation is completed to standard and maintained. Update and maintain auditing templates, procedures and provide training to internal auditors. Provide support to Factory Manager to ensure audit ready every day principles are embedded within the factory. Manage field biologist reports, non-conformances, and drive corrective actions. Manage the goods intake team providing adequate cover for site, creating internal specifications capturing the key inspection points and provide training to the intake quality technicians. Support the System Team with new procedure reviews and updates. Ad hoc projects/duties in line with Business needs as agreed with Factory Technical Manager. Deputise the Factory Technical Manager in the event of holiday and absence. Experience Required: Experience working with Quality Management systems. Applied knowledge of quality assurance principles and GMP. HACCP Level 2 (minimum). Food Safety Level 3 (minimum). Internal audit certification. Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills. Experience of managing a team in a process environment. Team facilitation/coaching skills. Influencing skills. Ability to meet deadlines.
