Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector focuses on the measuring/inspection of precision parts using a wide range of measurement equipment.

What the role involves

• The measuring/inspection of precision parts using a wide range of measurement equipment.
• Ensure the control of non-conforming products.
• Conduct Internal non-conformance investigations using 8D/5why etc when required.
• Establish best practice and streamline processes for inspecting items arriving in goods in and work alongside goods in to inspect incoming items.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 Rev D and customer-specific quality standards.
• Supporting internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.

Skills and requirements

• Practical knowledge of the inspection of precision components.
• Knowledge of quality tools and techniques such as 8d, 5 why.
• Effectively prioritize daily inspection duties/ activities to meet goals and objectives.
• Be able to effectively communicate with production.

Confirmed role details

• £28,000 to £30,000 per annum.
• Their role is to Carry out Inspection activities.
