Competitive What you’ll be doing: Leading, coaching and enhancing the capability of team members, including direct reporting as required Taking responsibility for the establishment, maintenance and execution of 1 or more special process domains, including: Process confirmation activities both internally and externally, representing BAE Systems at internal special process forums, collaborating with other special process SMEs both internally and externally to achieve set goals Understanding the methods of identifying, measuring and assuring the software at the supplier Drives the business to zero defects and Cost of Non-Quality initiatives Ensuring that high quality records are produced as an output of the production processes and inspections Your skills and experiences: Essential: HND/ equivalent qualification or experience within Engineering/Manufacturing Understanding of ISO 9001/90001 A good working knowledge of Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma/ First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIR) Previous experience leading and managing others Previous experience in a Supplier Assurance Quality Software role Desirable: Understanding of Software: AQAP 2210, Ticket, Ticket +, CMMI Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.
