Responsibilities: Support and help maintain the quality management systems on all UK responsible sites, this includes approvals in areas such as ISO 9001, ISO 3834, ATEX, PED, Functional Safety IEC 61508. Support with investigations of Quality related issues and customer complaints that arise as appropriate, including root cause analysis determination using established quality techniques. Ensure all internal and external audits are carried out according to corporate processes across all sites in a timely manner to a defined audit plan. Work with the supply chain and internal teams to manage the approved supplier list including monitoring of performance, supplier auditing, supplier compliance topics, performance measurement and analytics, strengthening relationships. Support and maintain RoHS, REACH, SCIP and COSHH management systems across the business. Help identify continuous improvement potential within the UK sites to improve the operational performance across all functions within the business. Act as an escalation point for closure of returned products, requiring building of relationships with WIKA manufacturing facilities, external suppliers and customers. Support the Quality Manager in monitoring and progressing quality assurance and quality control programs and produce reports relating to non-conformance. Work within the quality management system (QMS) framework, complying with procedures, company guidelines and H&S policy at all times. Collaborate with the Manager & Senior Leadership Team on other projects and assignments where appropriate. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of two years relevant experience in a quality environment, including the ability to read and understand technical drawings. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing inspection experience. Qualified internal auditor by a recognised registrar. Experience of 8D reporting or equivalent and working within quality systems such as ISO 9001. Understanding of compliance topics such as ATEX / PED or other relevant CE / UKCA considerations. HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
