Zenith People are currently working with a global manufacturing business based in the North-East. They are looking for an experienced Quality Management Systems Engineer to join their team. The purpose of this position is to further development Quality management Systems certificated to IATF16949:2016. Develop a program of audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards and conduct internal audits to plan DAY SHIFT WASHINGTON, TYNE & WEAR The role responsibilities: Maintain and further develop the existing Quality Management System to ensure it satisfies the needs of the business. Work with Corporate QMS teams to develop group level processes and documentation aligned to certificated standards and industry best practice. Co-ordinate and facilitate customer audit and third-party audits (such as certification and surveillance audits). Internal audit schedule planning - system/process/product audits across multiple production sites. Carry out internal system/process/product audits across multiple production sites. Monitor NCR and OFI status including supporting auditee with corrective action/improvement plans. Supervise QMS technicians. Mentoring and delivery of Quality Management System training as required. The person we re looking for: HNC or equivalent in related Quality Assurance/Systems/engineering or science subject. Lead Auditor certification and experience preferred - IATF16949 / VDA6.3 or other certificated/regulated standards Extensive experience of Quality Management System - IATF 16949:2016 / ISO9001:2015 / VDA6.3:2023 or other certificated management systems - system implementation, development and maintenance experience Internal systems audit - experience of planning, conducting, monitoring.
